The Couple Club of Lancaster can be traced back to1941. It was a time when a number of couples gathered together for fellowship and to dance to live dance band music.

   We continue the tradition of “dressing up” to dance to some of the greatest live dance bands in our area.

   The club enjoys dancing to ballroom type dance music like the Waltz Tango, Foxtrot , Swing, Cha Cha, Merengue, Rumba, Polka, Mambo and others.

   The club has a membership of 58 couples and has an active waiting list of new couples wanting to join the club.

   The club holds a picnic on the even number years and  a getaway trip is usually planned on the odd years.

    The major goals of the club are to have fun, fellowship and keep dancing alive in the Lancaster area.

  One year membership $150.00 per couple.

    Season runs from October of one year to April of the next year for a total of five dances.

There is an additional charge" for the “Christmas Buffet" of $25.00 Per Couple payable when you send in your reservations.

  

                         Our Dress Code:

Coat and tie required for all our gentlemen.

Most of our men opt for suits. Tuxedos are always welcome especially during our Christmas Dinner/dance.

Our ladies dress to impress. Cocktail dresses are the norm although gowns are gaining popularity for the Christmas Dinner/dance.

We limit our membership to 58 couples.

We also have a waiting list to join our club.

    Members may invite guest to come to our dance at an additional charge of $30.00 per guest couple.   Reservation for the guest couple must be made at least one  week prior to the dance. Make the check  payable  to "The Couple Club".
